[Feeling |calmcalm]
[Playing |Crows cawing, quiet birdsong, and passers-by]

Yay nice sunny days.
Yay laptops.
Yay wireless.
Yay 2-hour battery life.

Yep, I'm writing this on my laptop while sitting on a bench outside Pevensey. The screen on this laptop's suprisingly visible under full sunlight, though the keyboard does get a bit hot due to being black.

Unfortunatly, I ran the battery down during the non-symbolic ai seminar, so I'll be heading in soon to recharge it. Yay air-conditioned computing labs.

Yes, the extended battery on this thing *is* a nice touch. And running VS.NET et al I still get over three and a half hours run time.

The battery on this is rated for 4 hours, and that's an accurate value. When new I could get at least 3h30 with wireless, and easily got 4h without. Now I can only get 2h with wireless, but that's because the battery is down to ~60% of rated capacity. It's been used on battery a lot.

I love that I can get 4-5 hours out of my laptop just using it normally. It's really nice to be able to bring it with me all afternoon and not (usually) need a charger.

I used to be able to do that with mine. It needs a new battery.
