One would have thought that when a coupon says "Bird's Eye Harry Ramsden's 4 large cod fillets in batter", it would actually be accepted for Bird's Eye Harry Ramsden's 4 large cod fillets in batter.

Apparently not, according to whatever runs Tesco's system. Judging by the non-reaction of the checkout guy I get the impression these glitches are not uncommon.
