Well, I was going to post a series of photos I'd taken on a recent walk. Except the memory card on my phone has just decided to fail and claim that none of the photos I've taken this year exist. For added fun, when I try to read the card on my computer if I hit any of the failed sectors the card just disappears from the system.

This is going to be tedious to recover.

I might give that a try if I can find a LiveCD that works. I did try with a Windows port of dd, which worked very well right up until it hit a bad sector at which point Windows claimed that the microSD card no longer existed. Unfortuantly I only have the one compatible card reader unless you count the cellphone.
