Tuna Pasta Bake [Friday 14th November 2008 at 11:43 pm]

Today's random recipie: Tuna Pasta Bake. Either a very generous meal for one or an average meal for two.

Cook a few handfuls of pasta. While that's boiling, take half a ball of mozarella and chop it up into small chunks. Drain a tin of tuna and half a tin of sweetcorn as well.

When the pasta's cooked, drain it and put it back into the pan. Add a knob of butter, the mozarella, tuna and sweetcorn. Throw in a little basil and oregano as well. Mix it all together a bit over a low heat until the mozarella starts to melt, then serve and eat.

This recepierought to you by my half-made pizza choosing to become one with the floor, leaving me with tomato flavoured trousers and the remaining ingredients already prepared.

A "knob" of butter? What are you, British? :-P

It would seem that I should start employing tag for half the things I say online - maybe my tone is too serious? While I don't remember where exactly you're from, I know you're British, and I was teasing you about the stereotypical word "knob" when applied to butter.

The equivalent would be if I consumed half a bottle of vodka, remaining sober, and you would say, "What are you, Russian?"

Ah, I get it. That's the trouble with the Internets - it's hard to tell what emotion is associated with a particular comment. There needs to be a "" RFC!

(to be honest, I wasn't sure if "knob" had a different local meaning elsewhere or not)

Yes, a tag would solve a bunch of problems! :-)

The only meaning of a knob in the US is a potentiometer, or something that resembles one.
