Discoveries from Windows XP SP3 so far:

  • There appears to be a fancy new "Diagnose Connection Problems" widget in Internet Explorer 6.
  • Contrary to popular belief, you can still have the Address toolbar on the desktop. Or rather, if it was already there before installing SP3 then it doesn't go away. Not sure if this is still true for Internet Explorer 7.
  • Microsoft appear to have fixed the problem where file sharing didn't work if the Windows Firewall was disabled (Q889320).
