If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNoWriMo or what have you, post one sentence (or more) from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favourite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion.


I've not really written anything for a while, but every once in a while something inspires me. This snippet's been sitting on my PalmPilot for about a month:

Infinite butterflies

He watched, curious, as the wings unfolded to reveal a pair of eyes, fractal edges stretching to infinity and back. As he looked, the eyes grew, revealing more and more as he leaned closer and closer. With a rush of movement, an unfelt sensation of wind, the butterflies faded out of existence as he fell forward into infinity.
