*strolls in, picks up microphone* Anyone home?

So, what to write here. I'm 22 and have finished a BSc (2:1 Hons.) in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Sussex. I have one sister — music4asoul/elemnar (LJ), artisticbardess/music4asoul/elemnar (dA), elemnar (SA). I'm a bit of a computer geek — in my room is Khaos (a mostly working desktop), Wanderer (a suprisingly well-behaved laptop), Odysseus (an ancient, tempermental and now dead Slackware box), Icarus (an old laptop with a dead battery), and the remains (literally) of a couple more prehistoric laptops and computers.

Unfortuantly I have to admit that I use Windows XP, Internet Explorer 6 and Outlook Express, although I do know my way around Linux. They work for me, and I don't see anything in Firefox or Thunderbird that I would find useful at the moment. I am very tempted by Opera however, as they seem to have actually Got It Right™. I also like to develop in t3h 3v1l that is Visual Basic 6, though I do also use C and have recently learnt Java. See, there is hope for me yet.

I've also got an account over on deviantArt, which is used mainly for watching people. I have been known to upload the odd photo (at least when my camera doesn't consipre with Windows to eat random directory trees). However, due to current policies at deviantart I'm migrating to my own site (thanks to pleaseremove for hosting). New photos will eventually appear there, when I get round to it.

I help out on the Un4seen forums, which is the home of XMPlay. I've written a couple of utilities that go with it, namely XMPlaySecret and XMPlaySkin. I also hang around Jazz2online, one of the last Jazz Jackrabbit sites (and still going strong), though nowadays it's more for the discussions than the game.
